Pretty cool day today, folks! First of all, the training intensity goes up and its getting tougher and tougher - but I had a great session today. Perfect weather conditions in Germany: Only 18 degrees Celsius, some rain showers... I love that - it's so much better than unbearable heat. Also great conditions to get the main pairs of running shoes ready for the big race - but that's a story for another day! So I did pretty fast 18k today, good start for a tough training week. Most probably the tomorrow's session will take place before work... looking forward, I have to collect kilometers and kilometers now!
The big hit today: We will be supported and fueled with the extra kick of energy by and with Battery, the leading Energy drink of Scandinavia, coming from Finland! And Battery is not just a drink, it's pure lifestyle - check out their cool Webpage. This is really something, as Battery is a perfect match with Polar. Both two global and very successful brands, based in the country of sisu, supporting us on our way across the Alps. And we will be guest in the home-country of that mainstream, uncool energy Drink called Pink Cattle or Cow or whatever :-)
It will be fun to promote the real no. 1 on their hometurf a bit *hahaha*! And as you can se in the picture - every can is full of sizzling energy and it "keeps you going". Well... "going" or "running". WTF, that's semantic - we don't care. It's smoking cool and we are proud ambassadors for Battery! More details to come, as that has just been agreed today.

For those who don't know Battery - yet - try to catch some whenever possible. Very tasty and the real kick to get you going. We are looking forward a lot to this cooperation, as it is adding a real cool and trendy spice to our adventure. You might wonder, what the picture abovehas to do with the Transalpine Run and our team or whatsoever. Well, nothing. But who cares?!
And: No - this is not our race-suit for the competition. Or maybe... just a sec, I have to check with Martin & Ruben :-)
